Driving Directions:

Coming in to Enid from the north on U.S. Highway 81/60 (Van Buren St.), come south across the overpass by the grain elevators and take the first left (east) at the foot of the overpass onto Walnut. Go 7 blocks to Washington, turn left (north) and we're a block and a half up on the left side of the street.

Entering Enid from the south on U.S. Highway 81 (Van Buren St.), drive to Walnut and turn right, then follow the directions listed above.

Arriving in Enid from the east via U.S. Highway 412 (Owen K. Garriott Rd.), go to Washington (Braum's on northwest corner of intersection) and turn right . Drive north to the Museum (approx. one mile distance).
 

Driving into Enid from the west on U.S. Highway 412 (Owen K. Garriott Rd.), turn left at Washington, then go north to Museum.

As a non-profit venture we exist solely on donations from other railroad enthusiasts. We suggest a $5 minimum donation to visit and see all the wonderful artifacts we have on display and hear their stories.

Conductor 'Watermelon' Campbell will take you through history at the museum historic train depot of two large buildings, train yard, multiple cabooses and box cars, plus the Wanda Lee Dining car (circa 1924-with it's own unique history). You will be amazed at the beautiful china (most complete collection around), 

RR signs, maps, stamps, postcards, posters, punch tickets, lanterns, functioning telegraph system, and lots more! If it has to do with railroad history....Watermelon has it on display! AND, can tell you all about it too!!

Friday, February 14, 2020. Enjoy an evening of food, fellowship, dancing & music by Steven Harwood, pianist and vocalist. Hors d'oeuvres & music starts 6:30 p.m., dinner 7:30 p.m., following by dancing throughout the evening. Dessert & gourmet coffee buffet at 8:30. Friday, February 14, 2020 - Valentine Dinner & Dance with Hors d'oeures, dinner, dessert buffet. Contact Caterer Retha Joslin of Angel Delight Catering 580-542-2639. Cost is $45 per person.


Tuesday, March 17th - St. Patrick's Day Celebration - 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Indulge in the Baked Potato Bar with chili, cheese, ham, and all the toppings! $8. 

Plus Silent Auction of a variety of baskets, gifts, gift certificates. 

This is our major fundraiser of the year. Modern Woodsman of America Insurance will match our funds raised up to $2,500 -- so PLEASE COME ENJOY THE MUSEUM & BAKED POTATOE BAR.
